Over the past few years, I’ve sought to cultivate my creative side a little bit more. I started by documenting my grad school experience on my old blog [now archived] and Instagram, but eventually expanded to YouTube as well. While I don’t have nearly as much time to create as I once did, I’ve found a lot of joy in expressing myself online [it’s also led me to meet some pretty cool grad students // people!]. Surprisingly [or perhaps not so surprisingly], this creative outlet has also helped me expand my professional skills. But most importantly, it’s been a way for me to find new ways of seeing the world and telling my story. And it’s been fun.
